Ingredients:
1 small onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
500 g beef mince
1 Rich Land canned peeled tomatoes
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp beef spices
400 g spaghetti pasta
Olive oil
Parmesan cheese (for serving)
Method:
1- Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook for about 7 minutes. Reserve 1 cup of the pasta cooking water for later use.
2- Sauté onion and garlic. In another pot, heat a splash of olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking for about 3 minutes until they are light golden and softened.
3- Brown the Beef: Add the minced beef to the pot with the onion and garlic. Season with salt, black pepper, and beef spices. Cook for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4- Prepare the sauce: In a separate pot, heat some olive oil and add the remaining minced garlic. Sauté for 1 minute, then add the peeled tomatoes. Cook for 20 minutes, then stir in the reserved cup of pasta water. Blend the mixture with a hand blender until smooth. Season with sugar, salt, and black pepper, then add the cooked minced beef. Your sauce is now ready.
5- Serve: Place the cooked spaghetti on a plate, top it with the Bolognese sauce, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
